At Four Seasons Flowers, every month is a celebration of family, community, and the joy that flowers bring. This year marks 51 years in business, and to honor this incredible milestone, we’re offering a special arrangement each month for just $51. It’s our way of saying thank you for supporting our family-owned flower shop for more than five decades.
Our Roots: From Houseplants to a San Diego Floral Staple
Four Seasons Flowers was founded in September 1974 by Barbara Bertran in a Poway warehouse owned by our family. In those early years, the shop was filled with house plants, pottery, macramé, and plant accessories. Over time, the shop bloomed into so much more—offering full-service floral design for everyday occasions and life’s most meaningful celebrations.
In January of 2001, Barbara passed the flower shop to us, her daughter and son-in-law, and we’ve been proud to carry on her vision. Through the years, our shop has grown, our team has flourished, and our reputation for quality flowers, creative designs, and heartfelt customer service has made Four Seasons Flowers a trusted name throughout San Diego.

More Than Just Flowers
Over the decades, we’ve had the honor of creating arrangements for thousands of weddings, funerals, proms, and events—and just as many everyday occasions. Our work has earned us recognition as The Knot’s Best of Weddings multiple years in a row, and in 2023 we were proudly inducted into their Hall of Fame.
But no matter the scale, our motto has always stayed the same:
“We care as much as you do!”
One Shop, One Community
From our original Poway roots, we expanded into Rancho Peñasquitos and eventually consolidated both locations into one abundant flower shop in the Rancho Peñasquitos Vons Shopping Center, where we continue to serve the greater San Diego area with pride.
